Dietrich Maiman is a college student in De La Salle University who joined the subversive organization known as the Laniakea. Upon his recruitment, he was given a heavy anchor on a chain as a weapon.
His Above and Beyond counterpart is Dysnomia Maiman.
At some point in 2018, Dietrich Maiman enrolled in Philippine Science High School's Main Campus.
Dietrich had a feud with Archibald, both constantly trying to prove to each other that they're better. As a result, the two leaders of the organization that would later become the Laniakea convinced him to come with them to an area, yet left him unaware that his rival would be there too, much to their disappointment.
He was sent to retrieve a large anchor on a chain, and was forced to work with Archibald when Sachikayla and Tyriann staged an attack to force them to cooperate, dissolving their feud for good.
He is later seen being sent to observe Brigetta during the school fair.
Dietrich attends the batch's Graduation Ball after he graduates high school. During the ball, he loses his memory due to the cataclysmic result of Sachikayla and Tyriann's falling out.

Dietrich was said to be snobbish, though this is still uncertain. He is tactical, industrious, and driven, which has won him many awards. He is extremely loyal to the Laniakea primarily due to the L.E.N.S.es affecting his mind, though the incident at the Graduation Ball has changed that momentarily.
